We worked directly with the internal marketing team at St. Martin’s Press to generate awareness for the best selling author Nora Roberts’ latest novel Of Blood and Bone.
We created an interactive experience where Nora Robert’s fans are placed in a scene from the novel and using a clever use of a poll combined with a chatbot the user is invited to a conversation with ‘Chuck’ to let him know they have survived ‘The Doom’ pandemic and what superpower they have acquired. A personalized news article is then created on the fly, with the entrant’s name and superpower for them to share with their friends on social media.
The goal of the campaign was to drive awareness of the new novel and with a reach of just over 1M views across all channels, it was a roaring success.
